What a glorious day the 8th turned out to be! with the Sun already blazing a motley crew of High Hopes supporters & riders met at Kiverton Park Railway station to embark on the sponsored walk.

The Chesterfield Canal walk turned out to be a stunning and very accessible for all. The weather was glorious and as the day went on it got hotter and hotter with up to 25 degrees being registered when we eventually ended the walk!

Along the way there was a lovely opportunity to grab ice creams and give the dogs a nice rest!!

 

When we reached the destination of Worksop we were pleased to achieve our goal and most of us had gained a little bit more colour!!

 

The Event was to raise much needed cash for the charity and it did a great job in doing so raising over our £1000 target!!!!!
